OUR PROJECTS

We are honoured to partner with our clients to implement improvements in functionality and efficiency with the supply and installation of custom metal fabricated items.

2017

Medical Cannabis HVAC System

7 Acres – Kincardine, Ontario

This duct was constructed from 316L stainless steel and 100% welded. When installed it was buried underground to supply heating and ventilation to medicinal cannabis. This project entailed 750 tones of stainless steel to complete.

Wastewater Treatment Tanks

ADI Systems – Halifax, Nova Scotia

These four tanks and access platforms were built in our shop and sent via truck and trailer to Halifax. All four tanks are constructed from 304 stainless and are part of their waste water treatment process. Each tank is fully insulated and wrapped with aluminum cladding.

2013

WindEEE Research Institute

University of Western Ontario – London, Ontario

The Wind Engineering, Energy and Environment (WindEEE) Dome is the world’s first hexagonal wind tunnel. Working closely with the wind dome’s designers we developed economical ways to build the upper plenum, test chamber and fan walls. This project consisted of 350 tonnes of fabricated steel.

2012

Tobacco Processing Equipment

Airco-DIET – World wide

We have worked with the customer to complete the design and fabrication of many different kinds of equipment. We have sent conveyors, shuttling conveyors, pin feeders, vibratory conveyors, cyclone separators, tangential separators and impregnators to different plants around the world. Each plant produces varying quantities of product per hour, therefore we are constantly redesigning the equipment to accommodate the plant’s capacity.

University Hospital Central Fume Exhaust

London Health Science Centre – London, Ontario

When we began this project, all of the various fume hoods from around the hospital exhausted to this roof top. Our scope was to capture all hazardous air into a central collection system and discharge the air through the stainless steel stack with the proper velocity and height.

2011

Parkwood Hospital Parking Garage Stainless Facade

Grant D & Sons Ltd – London, Ontario

Working alongside the architectural firm, we developed an economical and aesthetically pleasing panel. The panels and supporting steel were constructed completely from 304 stainless steel to last the test of time. Each section had to be measured and built custom, all 26 sections were one of a kind.

2010

Ice Cream Tanks

Chapmans Ice Cream – Markdale, Ontario

This project consisted of designing and fabricating twenty-eight 304 stainless steel tanks. Each tank was outfitted with a dimple jacket to hold glycol to chill the product. All welds on the inside of the tank were ribbon polished to insure a sanitary and CFIA approved finished product.
